Content in the Boppy

Stella was pretty content kicking it in her Boppy after her 2nd doctor's appointment last week. She gained an entire pound and the pediatrician was really happy. She's not weighing in at 6 pounds 12 ounces. She's looking forward to her Grandco's upcoming visit!

First week at home

Stella’s first week at home has been going really well. She’s a great eater and sleeper and is doing all the normal baby stuff. We had our first pediatrician visit last Monday and Stella weighed in at 5 pounds 12 ounces. We go back to the pediatrician this week and we’re thinking she’ll break the 6 lb mark. We were lucky to have Grandma Suz here for Stella’s entire first week home which was a big help—so a big thanks to Grandma Suz!

First day at home

We had a successful overnight stay with Stella at the hospital and were so happy to bring her home yesterday. She's been a champ and sleeping a lot and eating like a regular baby. Now we can finally settle into a routine of sleeplessness for the parents and hopefully contentment for Stella. We know we're biased, but she is truly the cutest baby we've ever seen :)

Stella's coming home!!!

Weighing in at 5 pounds and 2.8 ounces today we have been cleared for Stella to come home. We will be staying at the hospital overnight with her Wednesday and coming home all together on Thursday. We couldn't be more ecstatic and nervous at the same time. In less than one month Stella has proven to be quite a determined little one. More to follow once she's home! We've never been so excited about weight gain!

Mom and Dad have never been so excited to see the scale going up and up in their lives! Last night we were at the hospital when they did Stella's daily weigh-in and she hit the big 5 pounds! She is officially 5 pounds and 0.2 ounces and Mom and Dad actually high-fived in front of the nurse. We couldn't be more proud.
