Last Week of Being a 3-Year Old

I guess when you're about to turn 4 you no longer need mom or dad's help with puzzles.  Not sure who was more proud and excited about Stella completing her puzzle on her own....her or mom :)

Tulip Festival 2012

We couldn't have asked for a more beautiful day to go see the Tulip Festival this year!

Cherry Blossom Excursion

We took advantage of the first nice sunny Spring day we had and spent the afternoon wandering around and exploring the cherry blossom trees at the UW campus.  The sun and the trees brought out lots of smiles!  Yes, Maia was there, but she refused to be photographed :)

Super Saturday Sundaes (Fancy Nancy style!)

One of Stella's favorite books right now is Fancy Nancy.  Since Fancy Nancy and her family make parfaits (just fancy for sundaes), we had to follow suit.  Maia took her time to savor the ice cream, the whipped cream and the strawberries.  Stella inhaled hers and drank every last bit possible. Wonder where she learned that?

Dynamic Duo....or Double Trouble?

The girls love to play "Big Sister Little Sister" these days; which pretty much boils down to Stella telling Maia what to do and Maia doing accordingly.  Stella loves to "read" to Maia.  Pretty obsessed with Snow White and Cinderella these days.
