I will preface this by saying that I'm knocking on wood as I type this. We thought Stella was an easy baby. But so far, Maia puts Stella to shame. Maia is the calmest and happiest baby. So far when she wakes up at night it's just to eat and she's had many nights where she only wakes up once. During the day she is super happy laying under her activity mat and smiles nonstop when you interact with her. Her biggest smiles often come when Stella is nearby and playing with her.

Hooray for Maia

Loving their new ride
A big thanks to Aunt Jo and Aunt Renee for our new fabulous double stroller! Stella hasn't wanted to ride in a stroller in months but now she doesn't want to get out of this one. It's fabulous because Maia can lay down flat in this stroller. Stella always leans forward to check that Maia is there and asks "Maia?". Thanks again!

Sisterly Love
Stella is loving being a big sister and is always very interested in what Maia is doing. She must say "Maia" at least 50 times every day. Here Stella was giving some love to her little sister.

Maia turns 12 weeks old today!
It's hard to believe that Maia is already 12 weeks old. She has really started to develop more of her personality over the past few weeks. She is extremely alert and loves to smile. She continues to be a great baby and even manages to sleep through Stella's screams and happy shrills. Maia's new favorite thing is to watch the mobile in her crib.

Happy Holidays with Nonna Paola
Stella and Maia are having a very happy holiday season with their Nonna Paola who is here visiting from Italy for a couple of weeks. Even though it's cold outside Stella has been enjoying going on long walks every day with her Nonna.....and we have been enjoying her being so tired that she naps for 3 hours and wakes up at practically 9am every day! Maia continues to be an easy and happy baby which we are very grateful for. Happy Holidays to everyone!
