Stella and her class at school have been studying China this month at school.  Everything from the language to the food to the culture.  They had a big presentation last week and taught us all the fun facts they have learned.  They counted to 10 in Mandarin, they sang a song in Mandarin and they even talked about the Chinese culture. Stella has announced that she would like to go see the Great Wall of China and play ping pong.

More Snow Pictures

Stella had loads of fun when it snowed even more yesterday afternoon.  Her and Stefano built her first snowman.....and then Stella ate the cucumber eyes and carrot nose.  Maia is nowhere to be seen because she was warm and toasty in the house with Mom :)

There's really nothing better than having dinner with good friends.  Stella and Maia had an amazing Sunday today hanging with Gianna and Isaiah.  They all had ice cream after dinner.....and believe it or not, the last picture above was taken after dinner, but before ice cream!

Happy New Year!

Happy New Year to everyone that actually looks at this blog :)  The girls have had a fun and action-filled couple of weeks.  Their Nonno Gianni and Nonna Paola have been visiting for the past 3 weeks from Italy.  We have been to Palm Springs, the zoo, the aquarium, the Museum of Flight, Garden d'Lights, seen Santa, celebrated Hanukkah AND Christmas and the list goes on and on.  Here's to an active and fun 2012!
