Maia is officially on the move!

From the smile on Maia's face you would never know that she had the worst night of sleep in her life the previous night. The 2 teeth the next morning explained things!

Lake Chelan

We had an amazing long weekend with great friends in Lake Chelan. The weather was perfectly warm and a great break from the rain we've been having this Spring in Seattle. Stella had a blast running around the house and playing with her good friend Luna. Whatever one ate, the other ate. Whatever one wanted, the other wanted. They spent hours in the afternoon sun making pinecone soup (see first photo)! They worked so hard they took an apple break together.

Pigtails

Stella's hair has finally grown out long enough that she is now obsessed with barrettes. Yesterday we tried pigtails for the first time and she loved them. She immediately said "mirror" and ran into the bathroom to look at herself. Then she told mommy "picture" so we took this photo.
