4 months already!

Hard to believe but Maia is already 4 months old. At her check-up the pediatrician was so pleased with her growth that she said she's practically already caught up. She continues to be the happiest and mellowest baby--wakes up smiling and goes to bed smiling. She was a great traveler on our recent trip to California and melted everybody's hearts with her smile. Her biggest smiles still come from when Stella is kissing or talking to her.

Stella is enjoying her new kitchen! For some reason she loves to put her fake fruit into the microwave.

Happy Valentine's Day

Stella wasn't feeling the love today to take a photo with her sister. But she did enjoy a special Valentine's cookie. Happy Valentine's Day to everyone!

Shining Stars

Thanks again to Auntie Mimi for our star pj's! When Stella was little she bought a bunch of sizes in these great pj's....and now Maia gets to wear them too! We miss you Auntie Mimi.

Zoo

We took advantage of the gorgeous weather on Saturday and ventured out to the zoo. It was the first time we had been there in awhile and Stella seemed to recognize and enjoy the animals more. Her favorite animal seems to be the giraffe.

Good times with Autumn

We were so happy to have a sunny beautiful day this week so we could go to the park to play with our good friend Autumn. The girls had a great time together!

While Stella and Autumn played, Maia kicked it in the Bjorn with Mom.

Hooray for Maia

I will preface this by saying that I'm knocking on wood as I type this. We thought Stella was an easy baby. But so far, Maia puts Stella to shame. Maia is the calmest and happiest baby. So far when she wakes up at night it's just to eat and she's had many nights where she only wakes up once. During the day she is super happy laying under her activity mat and smiles nonstop when you interact with her. Her biggest smiles often come when Stella is nearby and playing with her.
